Inspiration line for The Twelve Wild Geese, I don’t think I can stop until I’ve made each brother a jacket… hours of weaving, dancing circles barefoot, that summer smell of cut grass and rain, and it smells of freedom, life on the wing…

A present from a bad fairy I know, left on my doorstep beside the pumpkins this morning… But speaking of cinders, I missed her out in my last set of tales but I have her story on to brew now, it’s in the early stages but I’m still exploring fairy tale garments, magic, craft and identity…
